I was on my laptop chatting on msn and reading up on writing resumes and cover letters (yes, I'm in need of a job) until I heard a faint ringing noise, similar to that of a phone. So I turned and half-shouted, half-asked anyone who could hear to pick their phone up. No one responded so I was like: "Can't you hear the ringing? Who's phone is it that's ringing?"
Mum replied with a '?' expression, and something was still ringing, so I tried to find the source of the sound. I didn't have to look long. The sound came from my own laptop! It was a friend who was calling me on MSN!
Oh, that was funny and...dumb...
