This was a while ago

Mister steam engine (Puffing Billy)

I think these were taken during our midterm break in April (if my memory serves me right). We went on a train ride to some place in the mountains! It was fun, cos we got to dangle our legs out of the window and feel the wind breeze through our hair! Here are some photos which I neglected to post up :X
Meet the Parents :)

Photos taken as we crossed a bridge. It's pretty exhilarating at that height

This tree is special because it was the ONLY tree that was yellow out of all that greenery...

shadows...

The train trip took around 40 minutes (or was it an hour O_O) Anyway, we arrived at our destination - Lakeside (which is, of course, by a lake!)

And here are some more photos:
Meet our train conductors; this pic could've been awesome if only I had focused it properly :(

We saw this stand where they were reptiles on show - me and Esther had an interesting time playing with the snakes...until...
...this happened O_O 2 snakes! They love me too much, awwwwwwwww :)
mum - holding a lizard; Mark looking bored...
...we woke up a sleepy head (he's nocturnal)...
le family

So after we said bye-bye to our reptile friends, we had lunch and walked around the lake. There were aqua-bikes!!! Wanted to go on, but alas...no time...
BUT, the scenery - beautiful!
"Significant Tree" (very significant...and weird..)
Cryptomeria Japonica

An enjoyable day...I miss Spring now...Winter sucks.

Farewell Dinner

Parents invited two families for dinner last Sunday (should've arranged it at a later date- it totally killed my study time for Chem exam on Monday @.@). Anyway, here are some photos taken...

Good FOOD!!! Everything was delicious that night: especially the homemade noodles by auntie!!

Osyters with creamy cheese, bacon and mushrooms. Mum did a pretty decent job of replicating the cheesy oysters we always have during 'yum cha'.

Jedidiah- HE'S CO CUTEEEEE - NO WORDS CAN DESCRIBE HOW CUTE HE IS. This is us posing for the camera...the rolled up newspapers were our 'swords'...we kinda...did some role-playing O_O

He's a hyper kid. (You CAN'T CATCH ME!!!)

Haha... :)

It was a cold and rainy day...

...actually...it still is. Good thing I brought my umbrella to uni today. First exam over - YAY. I kinda stuffed up with my timing so I didn't get enough time to finish the last few questions well. Oh well, what's done is done. Today I'll be focusing my attention on the remaining 3 units - Introduction to Psychology A; Principles of Chemistry and Human Structure and Function (the 3/4kg of pure agony)- WHOO!

And I saw this totally cute kid wearing an OVER SIZED raincoat. He looks like a duckling- his hat gave it away. Very cute :)

Life is (not) tough for teenagers

Title to blog post will be explained in the following video:

- World Vision 2009

On another note, EXAMS ARE STARTING TMR *hyperventilates* My first exam is "Understanding Health" (such a BORE); it's mostly common knowledge, so I'm not too fussed...but I find myself cramming - AGAIN. It's such a bad habit, I really should follow the timetables I make...

I am now going to share with you one of my awesome techniques of study-avoidance - "Study Avoidance #213 - Post photo of room and talk nonsense!" (procrastination MUCH??!??!)

#1 - My table - it's covered with poo my lovely study materials, eraser dust, drool and whatnot.
#2 - A pile of...scrap paper??? (Yeah, wow, I keep rubbish too much) Erm, there's a desk lamp (cos my room had to have inadequate lighting!); mobile charger cord and a usb cord.
#3 - My not-so-white lab coat for laboratory practicals that go for like 2-3 hrs (siao)
#4 - Adjustable shoulder bag that I bought on sale - was quite cheap :)
$5 - 3/4kg of PURE agonyyyyyyy - God help me.
#6 - MY CUDDLE BUDDY!! Me LOVE.
#7 - Calendar (that GS gave me - THANKS!!) and purse with monies supposed last me till end of Sept (D:)
#8 - Mini-bin and thick-as dictionary.
#9 - Deakin Uni's freebie wall calendar (given to me when I joined the association: it cost $20 too much >.>)

Okay, I should get back to studying. Pray for me, yeah??
